Velocity Truck Rental and Leasing (VTRL) is proud to announce several exciting developments that reflect our continued growth and commitment to excellence across the Lower Mainland.

First, we are pleased to announce the promotion of Sabine Hardie to the role of Manager of Administration. Sabine has been a valued team member over the past year, contributing to multiple areas of the business with reliability, professionalism, and care. In her new role, Sabine will oversee rental coordination, service administration and advising, accounts payable, and general office administration. She will be based out of our new Langley location, where her leadership and dedication will continue to strengthen our operations.

We are also thrilled to welcome Sukhvinder \u201cSukh\u201d to the team as our new Rental Account Manager. Sukh brings valuable experience from his previous role as a Service Dispatcher at our Surrey Service location. With a strong background in customer service, logistics, and truck operations, Sukh is well positioned to support business development and foster customer relationships throughout Surrey, Langley, and Abbotsford. His focus will be on growing our rental fleet presence and ensuring a seamless experience for our clients.

In addition to these staffing announcements, VTRL is proud to unveil its newest location in Langley, co-located with Alchemist Specialty Carriers. Officially opened on April 1, 2025, the facility is located at #101, 9930 \u2013 197 Street, Langley, BC, V1M 3G5. The site currently supports rental and leasing operations as well as trailer service bays. The truck shop is scheduled to open later this year, further expanding our service capabilities. The Langley team includes two office staff\u2014Sabine and Brian\u2014and four technicians, three of whom began on April 14, with one already on site.

While this new facility represents a significant milestone, our head office remains in Surrey, which continues to serve as the central hub for Velocity Truck Rental and Leasing in Canada.

These updates mark a major step forward for our business and reinforce our commitment to delivering outstanding service, reliable equipment, and strong partnerships across the region. Fontana, CA, September 25, 2024 \u2013<\/strong> Velocity Truck Rental & Leasing (VTRL), a division of Velocity Vehicle Group, and sustainability and energy advisory company Trio proudly hosted a successful ribbon-cutting ceremony at their Fontana facility on September 24, 2024, to celebrate the official launch of 47 high-powered electric charging stations across Southern California. The event featured speeches from representatives of Velocity Truck Rental & Leasing, Trio, the California Energy Commission, and Southern California Edison, highlighting Velocity's commitment to providing reliable charging for medium- and heavy-duty electric trucks.<\/p>

The high-powered chargers have been installed at VTRL\u2019s facilities in Rancho Dominguez (17), Fontana (14), the City of Industry (14), and San Diego (2). The newly installed infrastructure comprises 45 120 kW Detroit e-Fill and two ChargePoint chargers. Detroit e-Fill commercial-grade chargers are renowned for their reliability and efficient performance, enabling trucks such as the Class 8 Freightliner eCascadia, Class 6 and 7 Freightliner eM2, and RIZON class 4 to 5 battery-electric cabover trucks to achieve an 80% state of charge in just 90 minutes or less.\u202f The ribbon-cutting event underscored Velocity\u2019s commitment to expanding electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure and making significant strides toward reducing emissions in the freight and logistics sector.<\/p>
